New Explorations
We have launched an ambitious project to expand our mining potential and investigate new resources in several strategic regions.
To achieve this purpose, we have applied for 72 research permits for Section C in key areas located in the provinces of Huelva, Seville, Cordoba, Jaen and Malaga, covering a total of 4248 km2. These permits allow for the investigation of the subsoil richness of different metals and minerals, some of which are considered critical or strategic by the European Union.
The initiative seeks to foster new mining projects that favour economic growth and employment generation in local communities, while promoting research and mining practices that respect the environment and contribute to the well-being of nearby populations.
Tharsis Mining has also applied for 4 exploration permits for geothermal resources (Section D) over 280 km2 in the provinces of Cordoba, Seville and Huelva, and includes among its objectives the incorporation of industrial rock projects in its portfolio.
Preliminary investigations for the selection of areas have been based on an analysis of available information and field work has already started on the research permits granted.
With a long-term vision and a focus on excellence, we aspire to play a leading role in the mining sector, making a significant contribution to the socio-economic development and sustainable progress of the regions where we operate.
